Cesar Domico left Colombia, where he was a famed magician, after he received death threats for having fundraising shows for indigenous peoples displaced by paramilitary forces and left-wing guerillas. He moved to the US and worked at Wal-Mart, using gloves to protect his dextrous hands. He now performs widely across Florida and says that regardless of where he lives the stage is always his home.
