The day President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made his appearance on the global stage and the moment he saw Donald Trump for the first time, while attending the United Nations heads of state luncheon. Earlier that morning, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced opening an impeachment inquiry into Mr. Trump's quid pro quo demand that Mr. Zelensky investigate the Biden family in order to get a White House meeting with Mr. Trump.
